CROSS-fit #19 Control your outcome

It's not just you, everyone has that fight.

No matter what kind, no matter what form, everyone has it one way or another.
A milestone if I may say. Something so big that it means the World.
Some WODs are different, some tests are just different, they mean more than just an accomplishment.
A time to prove, a time to overcome, a tipping point in an athletes life.
Where this simply means success or defeat.
I'm sure everyone knows what that means, maybe not in a tangible manner for everyone, but it's there.

Yeah, sometimes it's easy to walk away, easy to avoid it.
A close friend once told me, "You can't run away from yourself."
The biggest enemy may just be yourself.
Win, lose, maybe it doesn't make a difference, but what matters is that you give it your best shot.
Maybe you're fearful when it comes to certain WODs, certain deals, certain conversations,
but do it, prove it.
This is YOUR fight, everyone has got one.

Well, at times, you're stuck, you're in submission. Moments about to give up.
The WOD simply hits you down hard, you get gassed, you got the heart but no more juice left.
In any fight, you can always change position, you just need to find a way.
Always remember, no matter what happens,

Control the outcome, it's on you, always has been.

Get on top, change your mentality, change your stance, control your game.
Control your fight, don't let it control you.
Control your life, emotions, relationship, don't let it control you.
It has always been on you.

Never Back Down, the movie which inspired this post.
