CROSS-fit #16 The Fear

In almost every Crossfit workout or even in track and field or in any sporting event for that matter,
there's always a certain point where you just can't push yourself anymore.
Yeah, you know you can, you know you could've given that extra push alot earlier.
You could've sped up more at that last moment to make your new Personal Best.
However, you just didn't, couldn't. And yeah, it comes back to haunt you time and time again.
I know how that feels, totally...
It isn't really about your physical limits cause you know your body can take it but...
You just couldn't push yourself. It comes back to bite you, you begin to live in regret if I may say.

Well, it's cause at one point of time, we started to get scared, fearful.
Afraid of the pain, we develop that fear and we don't wanna go anywhere near it.
We've lost that fight, however, face it, don't run away.
Be ready to embrace whatever fear that may be for you.
Fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of what people will label you as, fear of what's on the whiteboard.

We won't go anywhere if we don't face it...
We won't be hitting new times in Cindy or Karen if we ain't ready to face that fear of pain, suck and failure.
We won't be getting that new job if we ain't ready to face that fear of rejection, disappointment.
We won't be getting that breakthrough if we ain't ready to face that fear of uncertainty...
Face it, Fight it and don't shun away when it starts to prick a little, if definitely will.
When you do get over it, you're on the greener side of life.
