CROSS-fit #143 Complacency

It's the root of all evil in Crossfit.
Complacency quickly kills of any gains by any athlete or trainer.
It reduces you from a well established individual to one whom can't hold much anymore.
When someone thinks that, "I'm pretty good, I think I'm there".
Is where the fall really begins.

When you start being lazy and treating your training sessions as 'just another workout'.
When you start taking the presence of your coach and your fellow athletes for granted.
When you start thinking that you're grown up enough to live your life without any guidance (Spiritually).
Then it's the start of ego, pride creeping in.
When these come into the picture it isn't pretty.
It's written right smack outside the box in Crossfit Singapore.
"Leave your ego at the door".

Why? Why no ego or complacency in the box?
With ego, you turn a blind eye to your own faults, you begin to notice the faults of others instead.
You begin to think that you're probably stronger and fitter than everyone here.
The downhill descend to injury is what awaits you.

Leave ego or complacency at the door.
Hang on, lemme change that.
Leave ego or complacency outta your life. Period.
